Rear Wheel Contacts Splash Shield and more

I installed the KB upper link and lower LCA’s as shipped without adjustment as they suggest. I did a string alignment twice, once after I paid a local shop to measure and set toe and again after the I installed the front LCA’s. I did not measure the length axle to axle.Regarding the shields...

Rear Wheel Contacts Splash Shield and more

The rear is low and maybe too much with soft springs. With the Eibach’s, the rear RH is 1/4” higher than the front. That is about where I had the Boss set with RH adjustable H&R RSS kit and KB rear grip kit, no sway. Spring rates for the H&R kit are 630#F/515#R. On the Boss I had smaller...

Rear Wheel Contacts Splash Shield and more

The springs are Eibach Sportline on OE probably original shocks.Sportlines lower RH and levels front to rear but are pretty soft for track. Frt 180# Rr 100-220 progressive.Turn 6 at G’man is pretty slow left turn. Twice that day the left front lifted on corner exit which probably too...

Rear Wheel Contacts Splash Shield and more

During an April open track event at Gingerman, the RT rear wheel contacted splash shield and W/H inner panel. The body is centered over the axle with adjustable PHB. I had 3mm spacers on with Apex 19x11 EC-7 w/285 RE71-RS. Also the FP Pro Cal tune was installed for the first event, it...

    S197 Eibach 4.12535 - Sportline Kit

These Eibach springs were on my ‘14 GT Track Pack when I purchased it. The original struts and shocks are still present and struts top mounts are still stock (no camber plates).Ride is quite comfortable on the street. RH is way better than factory with rear about 1/4” higher than front...

Comment by 'Boss4Me' on the Lap time of '1:36.700' at the track 'Gingerman Raceway'

Impressive lap! This lap looks (and sounds) much different than my best at Gingerman🤦🏻‍♂️

    S550 Saving a Mach1

Is the Ranger clutch reservoir you refer to a OE Ford Ranger piece? I only recently discovered the GM clutch reservoir is on back order indefinitely.

S197 My budget track 5.0 GT

Good luck on drive back. Weather has improved. I drove BQuick back from PITS (home to South Haven) early to beat the snow.

New shocks / springs for street track setup?

There are other resellers of the H&R RSS package. Kenny Brown Performance, Lethal Performance, Maximum Motorsports and others.

New shocks / springs for street track setup?

As I recall the front H&R dampers were SA with about 16 clicks. KB recommended starting at 6 from soft on smooth track. Rears do not have adjustment.

New shocks / springs for street track setup?

I had the H&R RSS 630/515 with MM camber mounts on my 13 Boss. Max camber was -2.7 to -2.8*. Set up for RH in the front had plenty of adjustment, and lowering RH does have a minor effect on negative camber. The rear spring adjusting collar was a little restrictive for raising RH but still...

Ponies in the Smokies March 18-23 2024

The drive back to Michigan ended at Buc-EE’s in Richmond KY. My guardian angel happened to be in the same place same time so BQuick got trailer ride home (well almost home, it still is 140 miles short).

Cool! I did the drive from Gatlinburg to Cherokee. I understand the Dragon is more twisty however there is more “oversight” there.

Nice opening, the Boss contingent was well represented at the Quaker Lube bar and parking lot under the bridge with the event logo and photo op. Driving events over the next couple days.
