I doubt it’s the springs. I used to run variable rate FRPP P springs with 305/30/19, no spacers, and no rubbing. Dumb question but the liner is secure and tight against the body of the car, correct? Did you make any adjustments on the rear... (see full post)
I've been on 300's for years now, watts in the bottom hole and no rear bar. (though I now have a cortex rear bar that I sometimes use)
Tons of bite. Perfect until I added the cambered rear end, now I have so much bite I need to throw some away...
A friend and I were joking the other day about how the older we get, the higher we sit in the car. He said something like, "I know it's better for the center of gravity and all, but I can't see out of the bloody thing!"...
I agree with both of you and run Cortex 400 F and 200 rear with an 18 mm or no rear bar, Eibach adjustable 35 mm front bar. No aero.Oh, and the car I have the most nostalgia for was my old A1 Callaway GTI, loved that thing. (see full post)

@twistedneck This isn't your precise setup but on my '11 GT I have the Cortex Koni coilovers with their offset strut and run SVR LME 19x11 with 50 mm offset, usually with a 305/30/19 Goodyear SC3R. With that setup the tire just barely rubs the... (see full post)
Its due to the higher compression of the gen 3 shortblock. If you run gen1 or 2 heads you will have to watch for detonation. So a tune and better gas is a must. 3-2-1 motor??
a complete gen 3 motor would be fine because of the upgraded...
I don’t see the value in an Aluminator unless your stock block and crank are trashed. If you have a machine shop you’re comfortable working with you can achieve something at least the same, probably better for less money.I rebuilt my engine...
3-2-1, I was referring to the gen3 shortblock, gen2 heads, gen1 timing combo. I have a 2011 that is a street/hpde car not a dedicated track car. I like the look of these combo motors with gen3 shortblock but I would want the flexibility of... (see full post)
