finally installed my exhaust today aswell as got my new (to me) temporary autocross and track tires mounted. Set of 265/35R18 Michelin pilot sport 4s which are definitely worn but for $100CAD I couldn’t say no
Even if they suck they can’t be worse then the 7 year old Goodyears…
I started this season running STU and I think I’m going to switch to CAM C. In my area autocross is very limited so I’m probably not going to get more then 5 events a year. I’ve talked to a few people locally who have run the 660 and have had all good things to say about it
Would you say that being able to rotate the 615 would make it last longer. I am at the point that tires are not the limiting factor on lap timesedit : longer then the 660s
And when comparing the RT660 to something like the Kumho V730 and the BFG G-Force Rival 1.5s how would you say they hold up. I really want something that won’t be eaten up by a few track days
First autoX event in the books. Very happy with the Eibach Sportline springs and the koni adjustable. Have to make sure to reset the struts back to soft before driving home. (especially when the girlfriend has to pee)New tires are definitely in order as my 7 year old Goodyear eagle F1...
Got the suspension (almost) all put on Sunday!
After waiting for my front struts on back order for what felt like years they finally came in. Full adjustable koni yellows matched with a set of Eibach sportline springs. With the springs and a pair of Eibach camber bolts I achieved 2.2-2.4 degrees...
Negative camber won’t be to much of an issue. I’ll be installing camber bolts at the same time and once it’s all done I’d be doing an alignment to fix any issues anyway. I’m currently running a 255 front 285 rear on a 9.5 inch wheel which I don’t think will have any issue but we will see.
I have the opportunity to possibly buy a set of Eibach sportline springs for a very good price ($200 CAD or $146 USD) wondering if anyone can speak on how they are for street and track driving.
I’m guessing I will have to change bump stops in the rear but I’m okay with that.
Wondering if you have got and installed the koni yellows. I’m looking into getting springs for my car and the Steeda sports keep coming up. I already have a set of koni yellows and I was curious about how the springs pair with those dampers
Noted. My dad has the p springs on his car and I find them a little bit rough. Do you have experience with these springs or just that 1.5 inch is a bit much for performance?
