...........and that folk's is why Tim should be your go to guy for G-Locs as my little question didn't even need to be asked as he always gets them pre-bedded. I was a small Dealer for them years back and we always did like Tim and most Dealers... (see full post)

Oh we have Girodisc on that, they already have them modeled from our samples. Huge weight savings in the rear, the DH has an aluminum hat already but Ford is really proud of them making the Girodiscs very cost competitive. You will see a bigger... (see full post)
  • New rear has t2r used in it set up already but 1 axle spins 1 way the other reverse spin? 2 other rears spin both axles same way even if some one hold other axle! They lock up. Not this unit. Also 1 imsa team only ran lockers in there fr500c and... (see full post)
  • Looks like torsen 2. But you really can't tell the difference of the t2 or t2r by looks . I find it easier to swap hole rear if I change gear ratios. I had 3.73 rear 4.10 rear in car now and new 1 is 4.30 . I called torsen up asked if they... (see full post)
  • The torsen 2r I've used in 3 different rears. I like them and yes t2r are expensive. New rear I am going Detroit locker. May reason is see if there difference from t2r. Also the Detroit locker are rebuildable and parts are available the... (see full post)

The OP has a S197 not S550. The solid axle in the S197 is not as prone to overheating. The housing holds more fluid and the axle tubes dissipate heat better. (see full post)
  • 100% on pinion depth. You aren't removing the pinion when you change the diff so the pinion depth won't change and that is what sets most of the pattern. The backlash is set by the shims between the case and the diff carrier bearings. I don't... (see full post)

Thanks Tim! Any 2 pcs rotors on the horizon for the 2024? Curious if the hats will be the same S550 vs S650 but with different rings to accommodate the swept area differences. For giggles I test fitted a DH caliper on my Mach 1, offset was... (see full post)
  • Hold on a second here. Are you saying it’s possible to just swap out the oem diff without resetting the pinion depth and backlash? Just by using all the same parts, minus the diff? Are you saying to transfer the carrier bearings to the new... (see full post)

Bill, every G-LOC pad we offer is Pre-Bed except the GS-1 street pad that only requires driving around to bed. (see full post)

I would start by replacing the fuel pump. Remember that the fuel filter is a "lifetime" part built into the in-tank fuel pump and is non-serviceable. It gets dirty and clogged like any filter but the only way to replace it is to replace the... (see full post)

That's exactly what they were trying to do it's a bit narrow through the shoot then you drop down. It wasn't much wider then my car. I appreciate what they were doing using both lots if they don't its a really tight short course around 28-30sec... (see full post)

You can try stuffing the crossover hump with fuel cell foam. Post in thread 'Project Super Beater' https://trackmustangsonline.com/threads/project-super-beater.18253/post-303670 (see full post)
