I had a regular black golf and it handled extremely well i wanted the GTI but it was a little expensive.. then I got the Civic Si and that handling was off the charts, its what i wanted my Mustang to handle like and it finally does with the soft...
Actually just checked my file and have the #300 rear spring in the car now. Would like to go softer, but with a big wing I would have a hard time looking over the hood at speed.Funny how back then the GTI was the drivers car. Nothing like a... (see full post)
I agree with both of you and run Cortex 400 F and 200 rear with an 18 mm or no rear bar, Eibach adjustable 35 mm front bar. No aero.Oh, and the car I have the most nostalgia for was my old A1 Callaway GTI, loved that thing.
Dave Marx is a great guy and he actually has a really unique car with a 4.6 liter Mustang Motor installed. I will leave it at that and try to get a picture from him as it is way cool. The new trailer is perfect for an old fart, I should be able...
The bars are just a tuning device as you know well.. the factory FRONT ones are bonded to the bushings and that is mostly to eliminate noise and thunk warranty, especially in cold climates. Ideally we use a ball bearing interface there and its...

Wish I knew that before busting three engines..... Nothing like hindsight.Definition of insanity.... repeating the same mistakes and expecting a different result. (see full post)
100% in agreement. Leave the engine building to someone who is an expert. Not a simple engine. It revs to 8000 rpm and can get 600 crank hp with NA. (see full post)
I don't have my Boss anymore but take my advice.....have someone who is really experienced with the Coyote do the rebuild. After I blew my Gen1, I bought a Gen3 short block and spent countless hours watching videos and getting advice from folks...
American Family Insurance has been phenomenal, I already got the settlement monies and bought a new trailer from Marx Trailers in Sioux City, Iowa. It was the best experience I ever had getting a trailer, it is a family run business for over 60...
Very true! they measure us some 3m from the exhaust! Have gone to the booth with the rear muffler stuffed full of steel wool. Until I saw a rx7 with the same cheat catch fire.... (see full post)
